La Coqueta's Dhalia Girl Hand-Smocked Dress is perfect for the warmer months. Crafted from breezy cotton poplin, this statement smock dress is perfect for warm-weather dressing and fabulous vacations in the sun. It is patterned with stunning floral motifs in soft blue and pink hues and features a sophisticated round neckline adorned with delicate honeycomb hand-smocked details and contrasting thread. Inspired by the styles that Founder and Creative Director Celia grew up wearing in her native Granada, skilled seamstresses at our family-owned ateliers in Spain devote 7 hours of hand-smocking to each style, beautifully weaving the traditional yet timeless technique into our clothing and sharing their artisanal craft with every stitch. It has a long, floaty feel that swishes with every step, with a tier at the hem traced with an embroidered frill. It's finished with stunning voluminous butterfly sleeves to add that signature touch of La Coqueta elegance, and mother of pearl buttons to fasten at the back.
