The Arcadia Girl Hand-Smocked Dress is an iconic La Coqueta silhouette, returning season after season with subtle updates for each new generation of wearers. Crafted from pure cotton, this heirloom-style dress features a panelled yoke adorned with covered button detailing and exquisite hand-smocked embroidery across the empire-line waist, finished with geometric and floral motifs in contrasting thread. It is decorated with an exclusive print, meticulously designed in-house at our Notting Hill studio. Inspired by vintage botanical illustrations, delicate stripes and floral motifs were first hand-rendered before being digitally refined and printed in Spain in small fabric runs, resulting in a soft, painterly pattern in dusty pink and ivory hues that perfectly complements the feminine design. Short capped puff sleeves, a charming Peter Pan collar, and a floaty skirt complete the silhouette, while covered buttons at the back and an oversized self-tie bow allow for easy dressing and a beautifully adjustable fit.
